How it works
Charles Hall founded the Ansty Brewery in Dorset in 1777; the partnership with George Woodhouse dates from 1847, the badger logo from 1875, and the new brewery at Blandford St Mary of 1900 was named after it. The family firm bought King & Barnes of Horsham in 2000, keeping the pubs and beers but selling the brewery. It brews under the Badger name and has about 180 pubs in southern England. unverified info
