How it works
Brewing at Belhaven, beside Dunbar in East Lothian, is dated to 1719, and by 2005 it was the largest and oldest independent brewery in Scotland. Greene King bought it for £187 million in November 2005, and CK Asset has owned Greene King since 2019. After Heineken closed the Caledonian Brewery in 2022, Belhaven began brewing Deuchars IPA and other Caledonian beers. Belhaven IPA and Twisted Thistle IPA are its main beers. unverified info
