How it works
Began as a brewery in 2012 on the site of a former paper mill at Guardbridge, Fife, a site owned by the University of St Andrews with a distilling history under the Haig family; in 2014 it added a still and became Scotland's first combined distillery and brewery. Beer production on the site ceased in 2018 and contract brewing by Eden River Brew Co ended in 2021, but Eden Mill continues as a whisky and gin distillery, bought by Inverleith LLP in 2021 and by Tony Banks's Ruby Capital in December 2025. unverified info
