How it works
Founded in 1884 in San Carlos Sud by Francisco Neumeyer and some twenty colonists; the oldest brewery of Argentina still standing, "the mother of breweries": brewers from here started Santa Fe and Schneider. Enrique Meyer's from 1908 (Cervecería San Carlos Brewery, seat in London), Estrella de Galicia's in 1990. It brewed for others too (Otro Mundo, Primitiva, Duff); closed in 2010, its plant is in a lawsuit. unverified info
