How it works
Pivara Bitola AD was built in 1972 within the agro-industrial combine ZIK Pelagonija. In March 2000 Kenri GmbH of Basel took it over. It later went through bankruptcy and a Turkish owner (the Kenbach beer) and in 2010 passed to a private owner who invested over EUR 10 million in new equipment, but it hardly ever ran at full capacity; in May 2019 the plant was locked and in bankruptcy proceedings. Brands: Bitolsko pivo, Kenbach. unverified info
