United Kingdom Started in 1994 in the cellar of the Evening Star pub in Brighton by Rob Jones, who had brewed Dark Star for Pitfield; it moved to Ansty in 2001 and to Partridge Green in 2010 (45 barrels, 20,000 barrels a year). Fuller's bought it in 2018 and Asahi in 2019. In November 2022 Asahi announced the closure of the Partridge Green brewery, which stopped trading on 31 December 2022; Hophead is now brewed at Fuller's in Chiswick. unverified info
