Founded by the brothers Ildefonsas and Anicetas Šadauskas in a former match factory of Mažeikiai, registered on 25 October 1932 as the First Lithuanian Brewery; the state brewery Lokys in 1941–1944. A branch of Gubernija from 1962 to 1989, UAB Mažeikių lokys from 1994, later Brauer. Brewing stopped in 2012; the buildings were pulled down from 2018. unverified info
